Party make-up for eczema sufferers9 December 2018
Party season is in full force and I thought you may be interested in my tips on party make-up for eczema sufferers.
As you guys know, I normally keep my make-up very natural but I LOVE party make-up for a special occasion. I add a pop of colour with a bright lipstick or go for a dark, smoky cat eye. And as a lover of all-natural products, you can be sure I only use things I find don’t affect my eczema. Make-up is great but it’s not worth risking a flare-up over!
My tips on party make-up for eczema sufferers:
Foundation for eczema prone skin is a bit tricky, so I always coat my face in Arbonne CC Cream to give it a dewy glow. I then use my Inika powder to give me a matte finish. Then I attempt to contour using Inika bronzer on my cheeks, forehead and chin.
I always feel happier if a pro artist is doing my eye make-up! But obviously that can’t always be the case, so I do attempt it.
I love the ‘Round the Clock intense cream’ eyeliner by Bare Minerals. For a smoky, golden eye I use their ‘Gen Nude Eyeshadow palette’ sticking with the darker colours. If you want a darker colour palette I would go for Bare Minerals ‘The Bare Naturals Ready Eyeshadow palette.
Love your lips
A lover of a pink lip I usually go for Bare Minerals lip liner in nude and the luxe matte lipgloss. But in December as I get into the Christmas spirit, I love a pop of bright red lippy! Try ‘Flash’ for a warm coral colour and ‘True Bright Red’ for a richer deep colour.
Remember, having eczema shouldn’t stop you from doing ANYTHING and that includes experimenting with make-up. There are so many skin-friendly products out there now, which is great news for us eczema sufferers.
Enjoy getting your party glow on, girls!
Lots of love, Camille xx
