Make someone’s day... it’ll make yours in return

5 December 2018

In a world where we’re all chasing our dreams, there is no better feeling than when you make someone’s day. And it’ll change yours for the better, too.

I absolutely love what I do for my career, creating valuable content to help eczema suffers to live a happy life beyond their condition. For me, there’s no better feeling than when I wake up and read how my content is positivity changing someone’s life.

So, what can you do today to change five people’s lives for the better?

By paying our positivity forward, we’ll not only make someone’s day, but encourage them to do the same.

Just think, if you can make the day better for just five people, they’ll be in a better mood and more likely to have a positive impact on others.

This is more about random acts of kindness rather than big gestures something to have a positive effect without expecting anything in return (apart from an amazing feel-good feeling!)

Here are some of my favourite ideas:

Smile. At everyone, all day. Yes, some people might wonder why you’re so happy, but a genuine smile can really brighten someone’s day and make them believe in the kindness in the world. So smile smile smile!

Buy breakfast for a homeless person. I don’t just mean shove a bacon sandwich at them! Ask them what they’d like, totally treat them and show that you care and they are valued.

Write a letter of appreciation. Who doesn’t love getting proper letters these days?! In our era of technology, writing a letter to someone you love, telling them how grateful you are for them being in your life, is a fantastic gesture. Or you could hand deliver it and read it out to them... and watch them light up with joy.

Bake a cake or cook dinner for someone. I really love it if someone does this for me, it takes the work of cooking out of my meal and I get to enjoy some fabulous food. The way to my heart is through my stomach!

Let someone go in front of you in the coffee queue. We can get too bogged down with who’s standing where or who’s pushing in let someone in front of you and it makes a stressy situation suddenly calm and pleasant.

I’m sure you have a whole bunch of your own ideas that you know would change people’s day. I’d love to see what you get up to. Share your act of kindness with me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram and I will share it on my page!

Lots of love, Camille xx

Camille Thank for bringing this content full of hope, positivity, kindness and simplicity. You just reminded me that living a happy Life is actually so natural and simple when we stop making a big deal of every little thing. I will smile to everyone tomorrow, me included in the mirror, while repeating myself Patience, Patience, Patience :)
