I’ve lived with dry skin for a long time now, and as you know I’m on a mission to help you live a life beyond sensitive. So I wanted to share with you one of the best tools I’ve discovered, which is a healing journal.
It can be all too easy to just let time drift along and when a flare up happens to just think ‘that’s life’ and not really know why it’s occurred. But putting pen to paper means thinking more about your gratitude lists and properly reflecting on your HOPE principles to see where you are with them. It’s a bit like checking in with yourself in the same way that you would with a friend.

It can also be very easy to THINK you’re following the HOPE principles because you know what they are. But ask yourself, honestly, are you actually practising them? I confess there are times when I don’t always practise what I preach. Boyyyy does my sensitive skin let me know about it!
But it isn’t always easy to know the best way to journal. Which is why I’ve decided to step into the breach and create one of my own. Yes ta dah! I’m so so excited about this, I mean I’m really buzzing at this creation. Because I know full well that it will make such a lot of difference to such a lot of people. It will take you on your very own guide to managing your sensitive skin journey, it’s a place for you to let out all of your inner thoughts and make sure you’re implementing those HOPE principles properly. Yes I’m super hot on making sure you’re doing that! Because these pillars of self care are so important for healing.
Why have I created my own journal? Well, for years now I’ve used journal after journal and I’ll be honest, it always felt there was something missing. I’d find myself tweaking them to make them work better for me. So I’ve used this experience to create this uber journal which has EVERYTHING you need to get going.
What’s inside? You’ll find morning rituals and evening reflections. There are spaces to check in on sleep, fitness, food, affirmations and gratitude, as well as your thoughts in general. There are tips on how to get more sleep, a self-care routine, positive inspirational quotes and a fab skincare recipe.
I’m here to guide you, too, and every week I’ve provided challenges for you to conquer. This is really important it’s about setting yourself manageable goals and going for it, and believe me you’ll feel brilliant when you get there.
